London is famous for its juxtaposition between historical red brick Victorian and Georgian buildings squeezed between high-end, glossy and vibrant modern architecture. The Crispin restaurant darts itself right through the old architecture with its pinpoint roof and sleek black shine. It is not just a pretty face either, when you walk through those blacked-out glass doors you find yourself surrounded by warm glowing candlelight, dried seasonal flowers and happy people eating the most delicious food served on small plates. This is one of my favourite restaurants in East London and my passion for it had to be demonstrated in a beautifully detailed illustration.
