About Nomadic Arthouse

Nomadic Arthouse, founded in May 2020 by Emily Hinckley. A lockdown passion project turned small business. Inspired by the strength and solidarity of local businesses and independent stores around London, I chose to celebrate their perserverance with my own by illustrating them. From the coffee shops that sold their coffee, and the local businesses that sold books, and the restaurants that delivered food hampers, I wanted to creating something just as wonderful, for someone to take home and bring a pop of colour to their interiors.

Working with Emily to create a bespoke print for my best friend’s wedding present was a fantastic experience. Her talents are obvious in the finished products, but what really made creating this gift so special was her flexibility and focus on getting the design just right. For such a special occasion, I couldn’t have asked for more attention to detail and expert advice on what would work/not. I haven’t given the gift yet, but I know that the grooms will absolute love this one-of-a-kind piece to celebrate their big day.
